Anticipating a quick response, eagerly I wait
To attend Liberty & Society Seminar by the Centre for Civil Society

Fate had it to seal my date
For four lively days with wide variety

It is not an N.G.O. but a Private Voluntary Organization
Schedule packed of lectures, discussions, group games, documentaries and Intern’s presentation.

Satinder bangs the door when seven shows the clock
It’s time to get up Baby for “the intellectual electric shock”

Once you droop, Swati is there to disturb
She yells: Hey people! The forum shouts back: What’s Up?

Good accommodation and sumptuous food
Well – informed speakers, 40 beautifool girls and cool dudes

Christopher well articulated the zero-some game
You opened our eyes to who is the culprit and who is to blame

“Transport is the biggest problem,” Sauvik had to say
No one else better swore by it than Mr. Amit Pandey

Parth, your leadership qualities got the girls mooning over you
We guys went green-eyed as you robbed us of our favourite job to do

Juvenile by nature, Mana wore a colgate smile
Seldom she spoke, but when she did, it was worthwhile

A fire pack- Gagandeep was a tough nut to crack
Wanna legalize prostitution? Wait! Face his words of wisdom attack

Rakesh- another chap against legalizing this institution
His sole concern, “What would be my Grandpa’s reaction?”

Sankat Vihar’ we went to research the social issues
Different players we identified and brought forth their point of views

Post-dinner, Dumbchrades we played and documentaries we saw
Great fun we had and also debated the loopholes in the License Permit Raj and flaws in the Law

Some got answers and others took home new question to ask
We graduated as harbinger of free society. In Liberty we bask.

No matter if you commute in bus or drive a brand new car
