FOF AMRITSAR

FOF first meeting held on 23rd September, 2005. 11 members attended it. Out of 11, 3 non LSS graduates attended the meeting and rest 8 were LSS graduates. Following objectives are set for FOF working:

1. To convince members of FOF on liberal issues and ideas. (charity begins at home first.)
2. To increase the strength of FOF (increasing no. of members)
3. To create awareness among college students about FOF and its activities.
4. To have quarterly review of FOF activities.

Backstage Boys, a documentary was screened on September 29 at DAV College.

Future Activities planned:

1. Organising presentations and seminars in colleges etc.
2. Writing for newspapers and college magazines etc.
3. To get Brochure etc. printed for FOF
4. To organize theme based discussion say one meeting or discussion based on Privatisation of Electricity etc. etc.
5. To hold documentary screenings ( for this we especially planned to organize a week long JEEVIKA Festival in Amritsar in the first week of February positively)
6. To handle some research project jointly on the name of FOF.
7. Also spread our ideas in some senior secondary schools (1 & +2 classes)

We request all the readers to kindly send us your ideas to enhance and promote the working of FOF.

Suggestions:

CCS website should have a page and section on the website devoted to FOF and their activities, contact details etc.
