FRIENDS OF FREEDOM CHANGANESSARY, KERALA
The Assumption college organised the "Freedom Fest".  The programme showcased the different aspects of freedom… Using Yaani’s music we portrayed a ballet for economic freedom… then using a remix of Mitwa [lagan] staged the concept of political freedom… and finally the personal freedom as a drama “Jonathan Livingston Seagull”.  You must be wondering how we did it.  We divided the stage into two using platforms. The high level flights were shown on the higher platform.  It is really a beautiful story about how to use one’s freedom for the benefit of society.  On one occasion jonathan says “the most difficult thing on earth is to convince a person that he/she is free.” The final masala was done by using a dance formation from the album “dalit drum”… the song “I am the drum , I am beating for freedom".
